Rs. 400 million borrowed by Sri Lanka Cricket from the ICC goes missing
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) sources said that of Rs. 695 million borrowed by Sri Lanka Cricket from the International Cricket Council (ICC), Rs 400 million is currently missing.
Of the monies borrowed by ICC, Rs. 295 million is reportedly deposited in a fixed deposit in the Bank of Ceylon.
Meanwhile, the number of employees at SLC has increased to 267.
SLC Interim Committee Secretary Nishantha Ranatunge and member Ashley De Silva it is learnt to have tow
secretaries each working for them.
SLC Interim Committee members have started to employ their friends to the institution at high salaries after receiving the Rs. 695 million loan from the ICC, it is also learnt.
