President meets Iranian leaders

President Mahinda Rajapakse arrived in Iran yesterday on a three-day official visit after participating in the Common Wealth Heads of Government Conference held in the Ugandan capital Kampala, a communiqué of the Presidents Secretariat said.

 

Iranian Minister of Commerce Masoud Mir Kazeme Cassim received the President at the Tehran airport. During the talks with Iranian Leaders, President stressed to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
