General Forms New Party

Elections Commissioner's Department sources say General Sarath Fonseka has submitted an application to form his own party.
Name of the new party is "Democratic People’s Alliance". General Fonseka is the leader of the party and MR. Tiran Allas as the General Secretary.
The new party will remain under the umbrella of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA).
