LTTE has to decide the alternate route to Jaffna

We proposed the Poonagary Road as an alternative to the A 9 road. But the LTTE has rejected this proposal through Norway, said Defence spokesman and Minister, Keheliya Rambukwella.
There is no change in the government’s decision on the A 9 road. Now the LTTE has to propose an alternate route for A 9. Even if the A 9 road is closed, the government is providing goods for the peninsula by sea transport. We have provided passenger ships to Jaffna. But the LTTE made attacks in the sea to prevent it. However the navy has destroyed LTTE boats and steps were taken to hand over their bodies through ICRC.
Now the LTTE has to decide whether they are going to work for the welfare of the Jaffna public or not, he said further.
