Army operation to liberate the people from the terrorist clutch will continue, said the army commander Lt. General Sarath Fonseka in an interview with a lake house paper.

 Our next step is to liberate Vanni. 350 thousand people are entangled in Vanni they will be liberated and border villages will be protected. War has erupted in Mannar Thampanai area and this area will be liberated soon, he said further.
