3 youths fled Kilinochchi and surrendered to the navy

Three youths of Kilinochchy Anandapuram fled the area and surrendered to the Mannar Pallimunai navy on Thursday morning.

 

They have come without the knowledge of the LTTE through the jungle to Vidattaltivu and from there they set off to Pallimunai by catamaran and surrendered to the navy camp. They were handed over to the police and the police after inquiry, allowed them to go to their relatives through the grama sevaka.

 

The people of the LTTE controlled area are fleeing due to the human rights violation, conscription and the inhuman activities taking place there. The people are not allowed to leave the area and are living there as captives. Even the university students are not allowed to go back to their respective universities.
