APRC Today

The All Party Representatives conference is to be held today chaired by the head of APRC and Minister, Prof. Tissa Vitharana. 13 representatives of political parties are to participate in the meeting.

The Jathika Hela Urumaya and JVP have not submitted their proposals so for to solve the ethnic crises of the country. It is expected the proposals of those parties are to be submitted today to the APRC and this will be a special annexure to the proposal.

The UNP, which does not cooperate with the APRC, wanted the international interference in this matter. However the international community will support the proposal of the APRC said the Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama. This Proposal is to the base to bring the LTTE into the democratic main stream, he said.
