Rameswaram fishermen banned from going out of Indian water

A ban was imposed to the Rameswaram fishermen to go beyond the Indian waters for fishing; this ban came into effect from last Friday.

 

The Thamilnadu Fisheries Authority said that they are receiving constant complaints that the Rameswaram fishermen are entering into other country’s water illegally. If any boat was found violating this rule, they will be punished by canceling the boat permit.
