APRC proposal will be implemented

The proposal of the All Party Representatives Conference will be implemented within the end of this year, said President Mahinda Rajapakse to the Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukarjee, who is in New York to participate in the UN General Assembly session as the representative of the Indian Premier in New York on Sunday.

 

Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama and President’s secretary participated in this meeting. Mr. Mukarjee stressed for a political solution to the ethnic crisis of Sri Lanka in order to bring peace to the country, during this meeting. He praised the President for the actions of the government to solve the problems of the north east people.
