Meeting of Indian and Sri Lankan navy officials

A meeting was held between Sri Lankan and Indian naval officers at the border of the international water. This meeting was held on board of the Sayura Ship, which was purchased by the Sri Lankan navy from India last Friday.

The Sri Lankan navy brought to the notice of the Indian navy that the LTTE is smuggling arms in the boats of Indian fishermen. Then the Indian navy has said that they will monitor the activities of the Indian fishing boats.
