Fly-over bridge in Peliyagoda opens on Monday

The Second phase of the Jeyaraj Fernandopulle Memorial Fly-over bridge, constructed over the Peliyagoda Railway Crossing on the Colombo-Kandy Road will be declared open on Monday.

he Government of Britain is providing financial aid for the 325 meter long and seven meter wide bridge. The total cost of the entire project is 2.1 Billion Rupees.

A sum of 1 Billion Rupees has been spent on the second phase.
