Distribution of Voting cards to the voters have been successful

The election officers say the distribution of Voting cards to the voters have been successful.The process has been carried out through post master general’s office in the respective districts.
The Assistant Election Commisioners of Ampara , Trincomalea and Batticaloa districts say the distribution activities are carried out in structured manner.The Assistant Election Commisioner of Ampara district T M L D Tennakoon said the distribution process in the district has been successfully completed.
Meanwhile , the Assistant Elections Commisioner of Batticaloa district T.Krishnanandalingam said the voting cards were distributed to all qualified voters except those who left their houses and those who could not establish their identity.Those who have not received their voting cards may obtain their cards from the closest post offices by establishing their identity .
