The distribution of official poll cards for the eastern Provincial Council Election ends tomorrow. Post Master General M.K.B Dissanayake said a majority of the poll cards have already been dispatched.

 He said persons who do not receive their poll cards by tomorrow should go to the nearest post office, establish their identity and collect their poll cards. Assistant Election Commissioner of Batticaloa S. Sudakaran said poll cards for the displaced are issued by the Election Secretariat in Colombo. Separate polling centres will operate for displaced persons.
