Minister lays foundation stone for second flyover

The foundation stone was laid to the second prefabricated flyover in the country in Panadura today. Participating at the event Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle said construction of this bridge will be completed within three months.
The 300 metre long flyover will consist of two lanes. The government of Britain provides financial assistance for this project while a British company has undertaken construction of the bridge.
The Minister also said that second stage construction of the Kelaniya flyover will commence next month and conclude in June. Nineteen such flyovers will be constructed within the next four years.
