Journalists' house ransacked by gang

The house of journalists Sashi Kumar of Sirasa and his wife Sunetra Athugalpura of Lakbima had been ransacked yesterday afternoon in their absence by some unidentified men.

Police said that a gang had broken into the house in Gonawela, Kelaniya after removing roof tiles and had searched the entire house.

A special police team has been sent to investigate the incident.
