Heavy battle in Mannar and Muhamalai

 Heavy battles are taking place between the LTTE and government troops at Mannar Parappankandal from the day before yesterday. 6 LTTE cadres would have been killed in this battle, the army sources said. Another 4 LTTE cadres were killed in the battle at Mannar Adampan yesterday at 6.00 a.m.

At the same time the troops made continuous shell attacks against the LTTE area from Muhamalai yesterday.
