Police service recruitment from Plantation sector

Youths from the Plantation sector are to be recruited to police service to serve in the hill country police stations, said the Power and Energy Minister, Mahindananda Aluthgamage.

 

Applications for this service will be called from boys and girls of the Plantation sector who have passed grade eight and they are to be posted to the police stations located in the up country at Hatton, Lindula, Maskeliya, Nawalapitiya and Ginigathhena.

 

President Mahinda Rajapakse has granted his approval for this recruitment with grade 8 likewise the recruitments made at Batticaloa and Vakarai areas. The new appointees have to work in Tamil medium at the police stations they are to be posted.
